Montana Cafe in Cook

Just about to head into the BWCA? This is Your place where you eat just a little bit too much, knowing you’re going to pay for it after about five hours on the lake. Great malts and burgers. Too bad they don’t deliver.

Food was good But Love there Bean Soup👍😎

Love this place. We've been twice and were treated warmly both times and the food was delicious. We'll be back

Excellent service and food. Small restaurant but plenary of seating every time I go. My favorite is the deep fried green beans and chocolate shake which is always more than enough and thick

High school aged staff was skilled above and beyond her years. Helpful, patient, kind, extra polite and acommodating and an amazing conversationalist. The cozy atmosphere, good food and great service made it an overall wonderful experience.

Went here with my family during a vacation up north. Was surprised how quick the service was. There were many options and all were to customize. Worth the stop!

Cute small town cafe with friendly service. Visited for breakfast, and the food was great, portions were good sized, and you could tell everything was either home-made or of higher quality than normal. Specifically loved the hashbrowns. I just wish they had a few more options as the menu was limited. Overall a great breakfast spot.

A great place to eat on your next visit to Cook, MN. Try a Warm cup of Tomato Basil soup and Sweet Potato Fries with House Dipping Sauce.

Chicken and wild rice wrap was good. Were 10 minutes late for bkfst..our mistake.

Overpriced for what you get. The menu is basic, nothing you couldn't make at home like eggs and burgers. It's a rustic feeling on the inside and friendly atmosphere but the prices are high and not a big selection of food.

Quaint little cafe downtown Cook. It's very nastalgic and has a great atmosphere. The service was good and the menu is simple. I recommend because of the home town feel and friendly people. They also have good coffee unlike most cafes.

Best restaurant in town!

Try the Chicken Wild Rice wrap...it's delicious!! A definite must-eat place when we visit Lake Vermilion every summer.

The best food and service ever! Staff is so welcoming! We were up at a cabin on Lake Vermilion for the week and actually came into town and ate here 3 times! So worth the visits!

Rustic, simple menu, great service. Chicken wild rice wrap was awesome. Prices were average. Will go back again.

We had lunch today and it was our first visit. We heard it was recently reopened. The server was swamped but friendly and funny.California burger and crisp fries were tasty though the bun toasted would have made it just a touch better.Patty melt an thick chocolate malt my husband had was pronounced delish.Skip that chain up the road and go for Montana! It's a small menu right now but I think that is smart. Get some shoes on it and someday aye add a salad...wedge? Totally doable.

Wild blueberry pie with flaky crust! Delicious chicken bacon wrap and turkey club! Cozy sweet place with a good vibe. Very good service. Love eating here since the new owners took over! Cool to see the historical photos from the area on the walls. With limited lunch options in Cook, so lucky to have the good food and new menu- Thanks, Montana Cafe!

Great little diner/cafe! Good selection on sandwiches and kids menu. Lovely inviting town mad it easy to take out and eat outside. Very enjoyable, very clean bathrooms, would stop in again!

Located in a beautiful location, at Cook, MN. We were on our way to hike and were hungry. Found this place by recommendation, tried it. Its a old style American breakfast place. Food was generic good, and $9 for a sandwich, i think it was alright as everywhere else.

Stop here before you head to the lake, it's the best food in the area
